LAKSHMI NARASIMHA TEMPLE (1234/ Hindu)

In the 13th century when the Hoysala kingdom was at the peak of it's power, a temple was constructed in every area, its detailed sculptures and decorations. This temple is 9 km from Arisikere. The architect and sculptor was Maridanma. The plan is similar to that at Halebid. The tower is in place and reflects the in-between style. The dome ceiling in the mandapa is also richly sculpted on.
