SIDDESHWARA TEMPLE (MIDDLE OF THE 11TH C/ HINDU)

A classic example of the later Chalukya style of temple can be seen outside the town of Haveri, 100km from Gadag and 50 km from Harihar. It has a shrine, a front hall and a mandapa. The mandapa is four pillared with a porch which has entrance on three sides. The shrine is on the side of the porch. Vimana is made of green crystal rock.
