About:

Shambavi is name of the river which flows in Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka state, India. Mulki town is south of river Shambavi. The river flows westwards to join the Arabian sea. Bappanadu Durga temple is situated near the river.
Mulki is a panchayat town in Dakshina Kannada district in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is in the bank of Shambhavi River, earlier it was known as Moolikapur, turned to Mulki. Small beautiful town with the different religion people. It is 10 km north of Suratkal. Karnad is a locality within Mulki. Famous Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty hails from Mulki place called Anchikatte.

Nearest Railway Station:The nearby ones are, at Mangalore (60 minutes journey by bus) or Udupi(90 minutes by bus). At Mangalore there are 2 railway stations, namely, Mangalore Central and mangalore Junction(popularly known as kankanady railway station).
Mangalore Junction Railway Station (Kankanadi Railway Station) is situated 5 km east of Mangalore. It is under the administration of the Southern Railways.
