Sirimane falls, a tributory of Tunga river which decends from the Western Ghats ranges near Sringeri in Chikmagalur District of Karnataka. Sirimane falls is one of the pretty waterfalls, located about five kilometres from Kigga, and is around 22 km away from Sringeri. A trek from Kigga to Sirimane is purely adventurous. The areas adjoining the falls are filled with thick green trees. Narasimha Parvata and Agumbe are among the points of interest nearby. The journey through the fields early in the morning with the sound of fresh water gushing through the fields reminds all city dwellers of what we miss.
